This event was celebrated by grades 7,8 and 9. The dress code was white Islamic clothes.
The event started earlier than a normal school day. On a normal day, school starts at 6:45 am. This has already started at 6:30 am. First, all students submit the food they brought. Grade 7 brought fruits, grade 8 eighth brought cakes and grade 9 brought breads. This food will then be distributed back to the students. Mirza Aliana from class 9G and Najwa Habib from class 9H, the master of ceremonies of this event, opened the event and welcomed the headmaster of SMPN 1 Waru Sidoarjo Sir Didik Winarko S.Pd, M.Pd. He opened the ceremony while waiting for our special guest, KH. Khozin Mustafiq, S.Ag, M.pd more solawat’s and some Qur’an recitations were read. After that KH. Khozin Mustafiq, S.Ag, M.Pd.
Came and gave his speech. It was about loving the prophet Muhammad Shalallahu Alaihi Wassalam. He said we have to know his history and stand firm to his legacy. Knowing his history, like his birth, which we are celebrating. Our prophet (peace be upon him) was born in the year of the elephant. On that day, the Ka’bah was attacked by King Abrahah’s elephant army due to his jealousy that the Ka’bah had more visitors than his church. But Allah sent down the Ababil birds that dropped rocks from hell or Jahanam that burned his army and made them look like leaves that had been eaten by caterpillars. To uphold his legacy we need to implement the Qur’an and Sunnah into our lives. After the Khotbah, students turned in their summaries of the lecture and received their gifts which were the food they brought earlier.
“My opinion is that I am very happy to be able to find out more about the birth of the great Prophet Muhammad SAW, we can learn that we must remember the services of the Prophet Muhammad to uphold the religion of Islam” Said Muhammad Nadiar Arizahaq from Class 8F after the event.
